Description

Try this great soup on a cold day!

Ingredients

  • 1 q water
  • 1 T thrive chicken bouillon
  • 3 c thrive mushroom pieces
  • 1⁄2 c thrive chopped onions (fd)
  • 1⁄2 c thrive celery
  • 1⁄4 c thrive carrot dices
  • 1 t thrive iodized salt
  • 1⁄2 t pepper
  • 1 t seasoned salt
  • 1⁄2 t italian seasoning
  • 4 oz finished roux
  • 2 c cream

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except the cream and the roux in a sauce pot. Bring to a simmer for about 10 minutes and then add the roux. Let simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly. Add cream all at once and stir in well. Bring to a simmer; taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
